Clinical trial data "one-stop shopping" public registry proposed by Sens. Feinstein and Snowe.
Executive Summary
CLINICAL TRIAL DATA "ONE-STOP SHOPPING" PUBLIC REGISTRY for people with serious or life-threatening diseases will boost participation in clinical research, Sen. Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Aug. 2 in introducing a bill (S 2024) to create such a registry. "With a national database enabling people to find research trials, more people could be available to participate in research. This can help researchers broaden their pool of research participants," Feinstein said. Sen. Snowe (R-Maine) is co-sponsoring the legislation.
