LYME DISEASE VACCINE EFFICACY STUDIES IN CHILDREN MAY NOT BE NECESSARY, Center for Biologics Evaluation & Research Vaccine & Related Products Division staffer Margaret Mitrane, MD, indicated at the April 10 meeting of the Vaccines & Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. Mitrane noted that efficacy trials for Lyme disease vaccines in children currently were not planned for the companies developing the vaccines.
