NVAC PASSES RESOLUTION IN EFFORT TO INCREASE LLDB SURVEILLANCE FUNDS: the resolution, adopted at the National Vaccine Advisory Committee meeting Jan. 22, recommends that HHS seek to establish stable funding to launch the Large-Linked Data Base program, an active surveillance system for determining uncommon and hard to detect vaccine adverse events, as well as other surveillance efforts.
