WOMEN's HEALTH CLEARINGHOUSE SCHEDULED FOR EARLY 1996 START will use the Internet and toll-free telephone lines. The National Women's Health Information Clearinghouse is being developed by the Public Health Service Office of Women's Health and the Department of Defense under a Sept. 15 memorandum of understanding. DoD's participation is through the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. DoD has contracted with Frederick, Md.-based Science Applications International Corp. to create a clearinghouse Internet home page and toll-free phone line.
