Executive Summary
The cases of possible acute hepatitis C infection from the IVIG product reported in the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention's July 22 Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report occurred between October 1993 and June 1994. The reports included one case associated with Baxter's IVIG product Polygam, which is manufactured by Baxter and marketed by the American Red Cross.
