Appointment of a non-executive chairman to succeed chairman and director Paul Girolami "will be made in due course," company says June 15. Girolami will retire, effective Nov. 18, a year earlier than previously planned. "To ensure an orderly transition," Girolami will complete the transfer of executive duties on June 30, the end of Glaxo's fiscal year, the company notes.
