FLU VACCINE FOR 1994-95 SHOULD KEEP TEXAS/36/91 AS A(H1N1) COMPONENT of the trivalent influenzae vaccine, FDA's Vaccine & Related Biological Products Advisory Committee decided Jan. 27. The recommendation to include the Texas/36/91 strain in the 1994- 95 vaccine was based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that no new variants of A(H1N1) have been detected since the last influenzae season.
