Congessional health reform workshop
Executive Summary
Approximately 350 members of the House and Senate, along with staffers, will be briefed Sept. 20 about the Clinton health plan by First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and White House Senior Advisor for Policy Development Ira Magaziner in closed session on Capitol Hill. The event is the first in a series of workshops planned by the Administration to educate members on health reform and to coordinate and focus the message members are taking to their constituents.
