Executive Summary
Signs consent agreement with FDA on June 26 that allows continued operations. The Verona, Pa.-based OTC health and beauty aids manufacturer was charged in a May FDA complaint with violations of Good Manufacturing Practices rules. The government complaint sought both temporary and permanent injunctions againt the company. Pennex announced June 2 that it was revamping its GMP procedures under a new management team led by ex-Akzo/PBI exec Jack Van Hulst ("The Pink Sheet" June 8, T&G-3).
