Former Genentech VP David Martin will join joint venture as head of R&D worldwide on Oct. 1. Martin will report to joint venture CEO Joseph Mollica (formerly Dupont's VP-Pharmaceuticals). Dupont's two former heads of R&D, Robert Taber and John Mullane, will remain at Dupont and work under Martin. Prior to accepting the position with the joint venture, Martin was acting as a special consultant to Genentech.
