AIDS clinical trials data banks
Executive Summary
HHS will hold press conference May 9, 10 a.m. at the Humphrey Building, to announce establishment of data banks by several HHS agencies containing information on AIDS trials sponsored by industry, independent researchers, and government. Participating agencies include FDA, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and possibly, the Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health Administration. A main data bank will be set up at the National Library of Medicine.
