Ninety-four percent of the 1,509 products are extensions of current contracts with drug vendors. Price reductions on the new contracts for prescription items will average 15.4%. The Group also has contract prices on brand name products with Carnrick, Lederle, Muro, and Pharmacia averaging 15% below normal wholesale cost.
