Firm is paying about $7 mil. to acquire all outstanding shares of Jackson, Miss.-based Mississippi Drug Co., Alco said Sept. 16. Mississippi Drug's two distribution centers in Jackson and Dothan, Ala., do about $50 mil. in business annually, Alco said. Tender offer of $70 per share for the 99,426 shares outstanding will expire Oct. 20, and is conditioned on a minimum of 66,285 shares being tendered.
