Stuart's Tenormin
Executive Summary
FDA approved the beta blocker for use in treatment of angina. In press material announcing the approval, Stuart said Tenormin "is more selective" than the other two beta-blockers approved for angina (Corgard and Inderal) -- "meaning that it has more effect on beta[1] than beta[2] receptors -- which may result in fewer side effects for certain patients".
