Executive Summary

Company has cloned two hormones, luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and produced LH utilizing recombinant DNA technology. The firm cloned and produced human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) last November. Under a 1981 agreement with Serono, Integrated Genetics will manufacture the hormones and Serono will conduct testing, submit DNAs to FDA and hold worldwide sales and marketing rights. Serono, the U.S. leader in fertility drugs, markets the natural hormones as Pergonal (LH and FSH) and Profasi (hCG).
