Brazil’s Anvisa has formally become the regulator of the “propaganda and advertising” activities of the healthcare products industry. The changes have come through an amendment of the 2006 act that sets out its responsibilities and activities as regulator of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and other healthcare supplies.
